When Darren came to my school, at first I was like, "Please don't bore me with stuff we already know", but when he started talking, the power of his experience and what he'd been through was amazing. If ever you want to find out why you shouldn't take drugs, use "The No-Way Campaign" and with Darren's inspiration you too can say, "No-Way", to drugs. Way to go Darren!

I thought your speech was very influential to me. I hear all the time teachers and parents telling us not to take drugs. But seeing someone today who has been through it all and suffered as a result of it has really made me not want to do it. I think he is a very good public speaker and was able to keep the attention of all the students. Not often do we witness some one who could have potentially been a great rugby league player, lose it all to drugs. I think he has had a huge influence on a lot of people and I encourage him to keep teaching people about drugs. Keep up the good work Darren.

Hi Darren,
My name is Nikita; today you came to St. Patricks College Sutherland and spoke with my year group. I just wanted to let you know how much I got out of it and I really appreciate you passing on your knowledge. We get a lot of quest speakers that come and talk to us at school about statistics and numbers and things like that, but today when you spoke to us you gave everything true meaning and really helped me see the impact that these sorts of things can have on our lives. I really did get a lot out of your talk today and I want to wish you all the luck in the world with your dreams and what you want to become, and I also want to say WELL DONE! You are an inspiration to us all!

Dear Darren,
Thank you very much for taking the time to come and talk to us about drugs. I was most touched by your miraculous story and the fact that you are now helping the youth to make the right choices. Your work has made a huge impact on many lives; I know it has impacted on my life tremendously. If you hadn’t had come to talk to us I don’t think I would have been be so confident to say no-way to drugs. Now I have made a definite choice to never ever take drugs all thanks to you, and that is a very encouraging statement for my life. Thanks again for all the work you have done for the youth.

Thank you for coming to our Warragamba Town Hall to teach me about drugs Darren, now I know not to touch them. Thank you for teaching me about them. Now I know drugs can kill you. Thank you for organising the campaign - all the kid's know not to take drugs now. I watched you on sixty minutes and how drugs effect your brain. Thank you, and I hope you come back again.
