Darren's address was absolutely outstanding in every aspect, with his prsentation hard hitting and incredibly valuable.

Please, please, don't let this man go. It's so important that he delivers this seminar to as many kid's as he humanly can, for the sake of our future generations. His message is priceless.

HEALTHY HIGHS - CALENDAR ART COMPETITION

Students were to design and produce a piece of artwork depicting activities that promote “Healthy Highs” where the winning entry will be included in a community fundraising calendar show casing their talents and school. The competition aimed to reinforce the positives of not, “taking drugs” with entries delivering images that promote Healthy Highs and the importance of being physically active. 

    

Congratulations to our competition winners for 2010, and well done for your great artistic flair, and imagination. We would also like to thank all the other students who participated in our competition, and all the school teachers for their great support. We would also like to give a big thank you to Crown St Public School, for the opportunity to launch the competition at their wonderful school.    

Winning Entries

The competition winning entry for 2010 was;

First Prize:                 Helena Ly (Harrington St Public School - Cabramatta) 

First Prize Feature:

* The winning individual entry had the opportunity to pick their own ‘Healthy Highs’ Dream Team squad of 17 of their best class mates – a coach/manager/trainer (teachers) totaling a squad of 20 and were escorted to a Sydney Roosters First Grade home game. The 'Healthy Highs' Dream Team will also provide the halftime entertainment.
* To coincide with National Drug Action Week which fell between (June 20-26) the winning individual entry also won there school a free, “Let’s talk Straight” seminar with special guest appearances.
  

Sydney Roosters Home Game:  

Round 24 – Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans / Monday Night Football. August 23 at the Sydney Football Stadium.
