TNWC - JUNIOR SURF CLASSIC 2010

The No-Way Campaign junior surf classic was implemented in 2007, and in its first inaugural year proved to be a major success, with some of the country's best taking part over the two day event, held at North Cronulla Beach. The response from competitors and their parents was overwhelmingly positive, praising the event and requesting that it become a permanent fixture on the junior event circuit.

With one parent commenting, "Thank you so much for an inspirational surfing comp run last weekend at North Cronulla Beach, I hope that you get to do many more of these events in the future for our youth". And the answer to that question is yes - we can now confirm we are delighted to deliver on that request. TNWC Foundation together in consultation with Surfing NSW Chief Executive Officer, Mark Windon, have now joined forces to hold the TNWC junior surf classic event, at Maroubra Beach NSW.

TNWC Foundation and many others felt that a surfing competition for both male and females aged between 10-18 years of age was a great way to bring our youth, families, and friends, all together, and at the same time send a clear and positive massage to young people to say no-way to drugs. This year's event again will be a weekend not to be missed, with some wonderful initiatives and activities to be implemented over the two day carnival weekend.
