This is to attest that Darren Marton has been commissioned by the N.R.L to deliver "The No-Way Campaign" a drug & alcohol awareness program with our junior representative sides.

Darren is to be commended for his work and is assured of the continuing support of the N.R.L Education and Welfare Program.

The No-Way Campaign junior surf classic 2007

Event Summary

The No-Way Campaign junior surf classic 2007
has been the brainchild of Mr. Darren Marton, the Founding Manager of The No-Way Campaign. As manager of The No-Way Campaign, Mr. Marton believed it was time that we acknowledged our youth, with events such as this, like surfing. Darren felt that a surfing competition for both male and females aged between 10-18 years of age was a great way to bring our youth, families, and friends, all together, and at the same time send a clear and positive massage to young people to say no-way to drugs.

In it's first innargrual year, The No-Way Campaign junior surf classic 2007 proved to be a great success, with some of the country's best taking part over the two day event, held at North Cronulla Beach. The response from competitors, and their parents was overwhelmingly positive, praising the event and requesting that it become a permanent fixture on the Pro Junior serious. With one parent commenting, "Thank you so much for an inspirational surfing comp run last weekend at North Cronulla Beach Darren, I hope you get to do many more of these events in the future for our youth".

Each and everyone of you, made an enormous contribution to making this such a high quality event, and we could not have done it without you also, and many thanks.

Last, but by no means any less, a big thank also must go out to Sutherland Shire Beach Operations Manager, Brad Wittaker, and to all the team at Surfing NSW, in particular, Events Co-ordinator, Michael Crisp.
