There are many different kinds of drugs in our society today.
The most common ones are nicotine and alcohol which are both legal,
but by no means any less harmful.
The most dangerous thing about taking drugs is the consequences.
And you have to be aware of these potentially life-threatening dangers.
There is one thing we all have in common - dreams and aspirations.
Some may be big, and some may be small.
But one things for sure, we all have them.
This is to attest that Darren Marton has been
commissioned by the N.R.L to deliver "The No-Way Campaign"
a drug & alcohol awareness program with our junior representative sides.

Darren’s story of once being an aspiring young athlete with dreams and aspirations, then turned heavily drug depended, now has people listening. Looking to escape and making the wrong choices in life he began to use alcohol and drugs at an early age. Before long he was hopelessly addicted, this eventually led to prison, psychiatric wards, and almost death. Devasted and at the depths of despair, Darren knew something had to change. With the help and tremendous support of his family, loved ones and friends he begun to turn his life around, and his life now is nothing short of a miracle. Darren’s story is true testimony that no matter how far down the scale one may go, we all still have the capacity to become productive and worthwhile members in our society if willing.
